The lantern silhouette is one I've always been drawn to — it does something interesting that most trouser shapes don't. Volume and fullness over the hips and thighs, cinched into a high elasticated waist, tapering back down to the ankle. You get shape without structure, and a definite fashion edge without any effort. Made in a linen blend for softness and drape, Sophie is the trouser you'll reach for again and again — for the comfort, and for the way they make even the simplest outfit look like it has something to say.
